Thursday, May 31 was a special day at the Edson Community Garden. Employees from Cenovus_Kaybob/Edson office teamed up with Community Volunteer Jan Ficht and Mary Bergeron School for a ‘Native Trees/shrubs planting’ event.
There were students from Miss Jesse’s Kindergarten class from Mary Bergeron helping the Cenovus employees plant trees and shrubs under the careful tutorage of Jan Ficht. This was a great example of community collaboration and educating about the Environment, Community Garden, and Sustainability.
