Operated by the E.D.R.S. since 1997, The Take it or Leave it is the flagship reuse centre for Edson and area. This initiative diverts approximately 120 metric tonnes of material from landfill every month. Did you know that the building is powered by solar energy? Common Items: The Take it or Leave accepts many small household items some of which include: small electronics, toys, dishes, photo frames, decor, craft supplies, games and puzzles, books, movies and more.

Cost: Throughout the year, it accepts various items free of charge and makes them available to new homes, citizens, schools, community groups or other non-profit groups. Prices range from free $0 to $5 for a bag of items.

As of June 3rd, 2020 the Take it or Leave it and Building Material Reuse Centre will have new hours as follows!

Pick Up

*at the Take it or Leave it and Building Material Reuse Centre buildings*

Wednesdays from 10am to 6pm

Saturdays from 10am to 4:30pm

Drop Off

*drop off at main recycle depot building in designated bin ONLY. Look for the large blue sign*

Monday to Saturday from 9am to 4:30pm
